Implementation of the WMS Rewista warehouse system
Client
The client is a company operating throughout Poland. It sells products in the field of heating, sanitary technology, water and sewage networks and connections, as well as ventilation and recuperation. It has an online sales system and 7 warehouses with a total area of 5,000 m2, where it stores almost 100,000 indexes available immediately. It also has several branches in the Lublin and Podkarpackie provinces.
Challenges
During the implementation, the company had one central warehouse. Ultimately, the WMS Rewista system is to manage all branches and a new main warehouse, the location and date of transfer of which are not yet determined. The new warehouse is planned to eliminate many of the current warehouse’s shortcomings, which is to speed up or simplify warehouse processes.
Solution
The implementation of WMS Rewista was not just a choice – it was a necessity for our client. The company’s decision to implement the WMS Rewista system was dictated by over 20 years of experience on the Polish market and a comprehensive offer, which included not only the WMS software itself, but also additional services, such as the selection and delivery of Auto_ID equipment, design and measurement of WiFi networks or warehouse labeling. Another important aspect was the modularity of the offered solution. Thanks to this, the system could be adapted to the company’s needs, also in the case of development and opening of new branches or locations. What’s more, WMS Rewista ensured smooth integration with the ERP system, which was crucial for effective data exchange. The system enables the company to comprehensively identify each product in the assortment. The combination of large product volumes with automatic identification has significantly reduced the number of warehouse errors.
